1/33 P-51D Tuskegee Airmen Mustangs
« on: May 18, 2012, 04:41:50 PM »
I'll separate these aircraft from the other P-51D models that I produce...
this thread will be all 332nd FG Tuskegee Airmen aircraft!

This will be the first pair of 1/33 P-51D Mustangs to add to my Tuskegee Airmen Aircraft collection.
As many of you know, I already have a number of Tuskegee B/C models.

[Feel free to suggest a specific Tuskegee Aircraft if you want to see a model]

P-51D aircraft "Bunnie" as flown by Captain Roscoe C Brown Jr, Commander of the 100th Fighter squadron

AND...

"Creamer's Dream" as flown by 1st Lt. Charles White of the 301st Fighter squadron.

Dave, I haven't seen the Tuskegee Mustangs D in ECardModels.com

Almost ready to release them?

By the way, nice cover design! (Where did I see something similar?  :P )

The two Tuskegee planes (quoted above) have been submitted.
But ecardmodels has a number of models that need to get listed.

They should be available very soon.
keep an eye out.

...on the same idea, I have two more D models ready for release!
Probably give the two latest releases a week or so before I add these.

okay, two more kits to add to the P-51D collection...
and two more great Tuskegee aircraft!

And two very notable Tuskegee Airmen this time:

"Duchess Arlene" was flown by Robert W Williams.

Williams was one of the Pilot's responsible for shooting down German Jet Fighters (Me262)
and had two FW190 credits of his own.
Its also interesting to note that Williams wrote the original screenplay for the 1995 Tuskegee Airmen movie.

and then we have...

"Little Freddie" as flown by Freddie Hutchins of the 302nd.

This was his fourth aircraft, all named "Little Freddie".
Unfortunately this aircraft was lost in a crash, but Hutchins survived
and went on to serve in the Korean and VietNam conflicts
earning a number of awards including the Distinguished Flying Cross,
the Air Medal and a Purple Heart.

get 'em both at ecardmodels!
