haha now I think I have too much stuff to take!

Figuring out how to pack and transport these models is a nightmare.
I want to take a good assortment of stuff, but maybe I am taking too much?
Not sure.

But as I said, its the safe transport that I am more concerned about.

I have not heard anything else about a paper model category, so I guess my last
plea was ignored.  And they have not added any notice to the site about paper
models so I don't expect to see any other displays.

Not to worry, it will still be a nice experience and a chance for me to meet some local
modellers and other vendors.

I would love to attend, but at the rate my eye is healing I won't be able to drive that far this year.

I wish you good luck with the sales, and I do hope you are able to show some folks what can be done with paper. I know I am still flabbergasted at the quality of some of the work I have seen in the last few days.

Cheers

Tom

PS: I have checked out your live feed a few times, but you weren't there.

Do let us know when you are going to be on there.  Will you be able to do a live feed from the show?

The broadcast page is a possibilty for something like a Sunday afternoon build.
or if people want to see a particular build.

No plans at the moment...I just wanted to get it setup just in case.

I don't have bluetooth available in my phone, so unless there is some local wi-fi
I don't know how I would broadcast anything.
Hopefully I will take some photos and post those.

One week to go!

If you have a smart phone, you can install the Photobucket app and set it up to upload instantly to your albums. Then everytime you snap a picture, it"ll be uploaded to the web.

Or over here if you have iPhone.

My phone is not smart...in fact, its pretty f***ing stupid!

It has a touch screen that does not work...I cannot access most functions on my phone.
There will be no app installing or web uploading.
LOL
There will be no phone calling period!

Sometimes it rings...and if I am lucky, I press the correct button and I get to answer the call.
Other than that, its useless.

I will be taking my DSLR and snapping some pics.
I might take my little camcorder...not sure yet.
I'll post whatever I take after the show.

LOL!!  :D

Ok, everybody, let's go to ecardmodels.com and/or papermodelshop.com and get some models so Dave can afford a Smart Phone!  ::)

We're behind you Dave!

For the time being, use whatever you have at hand, so we can check the event when finished.

what, on my ustream page?  you can see that?

lol
I was experimenting with my OrbiCam.
Its a really old stand apart webcam attached to my desktop,
as opposed to the built in cam in my laptop.
It allowed me to remove the cam from the swivel base and move it around.
I was just wondering how the "record" feature worked
and how well the camera would work.
(Unfortunately theres not a lot of available light for video in that area)

I didn't realize everyone would be able to see that vid.
Thats cool.

Actually, it's the "mood" lighting that makes the video ... All the tank details show up just fine, but no glaring lights.

Yup ... it looks very good!

Cheers

PS: Just downloaded your Autocar lorry file ... fo when I get MUCH better at this.
