1/33 P-51B/C Mustangs (New & Improved)
« on: December 06, 2012, 03:27:39 PM »
Since I got a special request from my friend Gerardo, to create a special P-51,
it was the incentive I needed to redraw my old P-51B/C Mustang model
and add a few things to the kit and improve a few other things.

First release will be the specially requested "Jeesil Peesil Mommy".
Flown by Lt Frank Gailer of the 357th Fighter Group.

Get it at www.papermodelshop.com
or here, at ecardmodels.com http://ecardmodels.com/jeesil-peesil-mommy-paper-model-p-3007.html?osCsid=0dcd69ae58b590d7245f855beb8fdf01

Next (new and Improved) Mustang B/C model is available.

This one is an RAF Mk.III Mustang.
316 Squadron FB353 (later moved to 315 Sqdn)
These were part of the many successful Polish Fighter squadrons based in England during WW2

Model is available at www.papermodelshop
and here, at ecardmodels.com: http://ecardmodels.com/mustang-sqdn-paper-model-p-3015.html?osCsid=4b5595b680457238368750c7c68eba9c

If you haven't seen the earlier notices...my older Tuskegee Airmen P-51B/C models have been discontinued.
This includes the first generation Mustang models of "INA The Macon Belle" and the three "Variant Packs".

Using my new (2nd-Gen) P-51B/C Mustang kit, I have started creating a whole new line of Tuskegee Red Tail Mustangs
starting with a new and improved "INA The Macon Belle"  and "Topper III".

These new models feature updated artwork and textures, cleaner vectorized redraws, new instruction Diagrams
and many new parts including a fully detailed Cockpit and Landing Gear.

I hope to produce many more Red Tails and if you have suggestions for particular aircraft, don't hesitate to let me know!

The Macon Belle and Topper are now available at ecardmodels.com:

http://www.ecardmodels.com/index.php/1-33-p-51b-c-mustang-topper-iii-tuskegee-airmen-paper-model.html

and at www.PaperModelShop.com (USAF Mustang P-51B/C section)

yes...I have two more ready to be released.

Miss Pelt and Skipper's Darlin are ready to list in the store,
just waiting for some other listings to get posted first.

And I'll be working on a couple more of the Red Tails tomorrow.
If you want to try a new Tuskegee Mustang, pick from these four
or let me know if there is one you would prefer.

More Tuskegee Airmen Mustang news...

I've been slowly working on replacement Red Tail Mustangs
and I have a few more B/C models ready.

As I mentioned before, Miss Pelt (Lucky Lester) and Skipper's Darlin' (Jug Turner) are done
along with By Request (Benjamin O Davis), and Joedebelle (Joseph Elsberry).

I'll be posting them in the store soon.

I've also been working on another B/C model Mustang...and its finished too.
The Commemorative Air Force Red Tail Project Mustang.

If you don't know about this plane, you should. This is such a cool project.
This plane honors the Tuskegee Airmen as part of a traveling exhibition.
The paint scheme is a mish mash of things pulled from the four different Tuskegee Airmen Squadrons.
Its the second incarnation of this Mustang, since the first restored version was destroyed in a crash.

Anyway, this will be an exclusive promotional model. Not for sale.
I am planning to give this one away, along with my Miss America Air Racer kit, as a thank you gift for donations.
I'm trying to raise money for a trip to the IPM Convention next month...I'll post more on this real soon.

Stay tuned.
