Canadian Pacific or Government of Canada Rail Equipment
« on: January 13, 2013, 09:46:51 PM »
Not so much of a request, as much as disbelief.  I see railcars marked with Canadian Pacific, Government of Canada, or simply Canada at least three times a week on various tracks here in Kansas City.  Yet my various searches for Canadian-marked railway models turns up nothing.

As many of these as I see, it just seems odd that there are no paper models to be found.

Or maybe my google-fu is letting me down.

I read somewhere that there were issues with logo usage.
Railway models are a big industry
...maybe Canadian Rail companies have licensing agreements?

I would do some Boxcars if someone provided me with a template.
(But I don't really want to start designing Rail Cars myself)

You could be right on that.  As many of these as I see in real life, one would think they would be available as models.  I'm not particularly interested in doing railroad models right now.  I just noticed a void.
