Dave, I came across something that I think would make a worthwhile project when you get the chance. The RCN Avengers. Nice paint schem (to me, anyway), and a number of interesting addition bits to add, MAD boom, radar extensions, and so on. A couple of good sites, here; http://jproc.ca/rrp/rrp3/avenger.html, and a few more external pix here; http://www.rcaf-arc.forces.gc.ca/v2/equip/hst/avenger-eng.asp, to show what the AS 3M looks like in general.

If I already had an Avenger kit, this would be an interesting repaint.

I've got that GPM kit of the Avenger Dive Bomber...
not really a plane that interests me personally.

If I could use Sketchup and bang out quick fuselages, I could probably tackle this.
But as it stands, I have so many projects I would like to do...just not enough years left!

Understood. I know exactly what you mean! The GPM was the only "good" kit I could find when I did a search. The other two were FG's, and that little one blown up from a carrier kit, though I forget which one. The original site it came form doesn't come up any more.

I'd say the Avenger is under-represented in paper. Time for somebody to make a new one, regardless of the markings.

I have plenty of material here. Can be used in daily life, not really.
