1/300 scale Creamer's Dream Tuskegee Mustang
« on: October 29, 2014, 05:00:38 PM »
Just got back from the 2014 IPMC

and one of the people I met there was "Dabeer" (a member here and at papermodelers.com)
who happens to live in the Sterling Virginia area.

He showed up with his build of my Creamer's Dream Mustang.
And I just had to take some photos.

I think he said it was 1/300 scale?
I don't know myself...all I know is it is VERY small.
Thats just ridiculous, isn't it?!

Anyway, here it is next to a full size (1/33 scale) P51D model.

Now that I stare at it some more, I am beginning to think this is Nobi's free Mustang
...not my model of Creamer's Dream.

I will have to dig out the files...but I notice the canopy only has three sections
whereas I believe mine has four.

And the markings don't look properly placed.

Its still an interesting build.

Well, I don't know...
its not my Creamer's Dream.

And it doesn't match Nobi's 1/48 Creamer's Dream.

It must be a repaint of another Mustang model.

Maybe Dabeer can shed some light.
