I've done a couple, but trying to work out how to do the display.

Here's my entry.  The past and the future meet.  I kitbashed the Luner Rover by printing two copies, and removing the hot rod stuff.  I tried to convert it back to depict the original rover.  The Galileo is built as designed.  The moon board is a piece of Polyurethane foam.  Hope you like it.
Completed: SS Ivernia, 1/200
In the shipyard: RMS Mauretania, 1/250
Coming up: Titanic 1/400, IJN Akagi, 1/200

sounds very cool.
but pic is quite small...and hard to see.
can you post something larger for us?
the attachment thingy limits you to very small stuff, so I suggest a remotely hosted pic.
...or...feel free to send me the original photo, and I'll post it bigger for you.

I'm in the same boat as Vermin King, I have remade my KoolWheelz but can't decide on the setting. I normally  make the models larger but to make a diorama I would have had to rescale everything so I started from scratch. I have made a few things, taken heaps of pix, changed my mind & totally confused myself.......   I am over thinking it, tonight I'm going back to my first thought & just going to make it work.

Sometimes just photographing a model in a unique or interesting location is a cool idea.
I always thought it would be fun to photograph some of my Drag Racers on an actual Dragstrip.
They are so small...imagine them lined up at the start line...with a full size "christmas tree" in the background! lol

I'd love to visit the real Snake and Mongoose cars, and pose my models on their fenders!
Or sit one of my show car models next to the real show car.

But, everyone loves a kool diorama.  I know I do.
Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Well, now it's bigger, but it's blurry.  It was taken with a Galaxy phone, I'm going to get ahold of a real camera and try again.

I have an older Galaxy phone.
Check your settings.
Looks to me, your camera might be set on a lower quality/resolution setting.

I shoot on the "superfine" setting which gives me 2560x1920 @ 72dpi

Photobucket will automatically resize your photos down to around 1080px wide
but they still retain the quality of the original.

I really want a better look at that diorama!!!

...
Note to all who enter...I think I will copy all the entry photos to a new (voting) thread when the deadline day arrives.
This will make it easier to review the entries and hopefully set up a Poll vote.

As of now, the deadline is still set for May 31...18 days away.
If there is a big enough demand to extend the deadline, it might happen.
