Non- Canadian Subjects
« on: January 01, 2012, 11:30:40 AM »
Given that there are not really a lot of Canadian subject paper models would it be possible to have areas for non Canadian subjects
i.e.
Land Vehicles - International
Water Vessels - International
etc . . .

for your consideration

The Directory for Canadian themed models is specific for that reason...there are a limited number of Canadian models
or Canadian themed models.  Its also a tool for attracting and organizing Canadian modelers.

This site as a whole isn't a "Canadian" modelers site, and I don't want to restrict discussions to that theme.

You are talking about another "Directory" of models...right?
But for non-Canadian stuff.
Which would be everything else in the World...right?
Which would be an incomprehensible amount of models...right?
lol
and a pretty daunting venture!
I don't think we have enough space on the server to make a directory of all models!

You do think big, don't you?! haha

What about a new Topic in the general Discussions area for "Interesting Finds"
or  "Important Paper Models" ...or "Extra Special Found Models"...etc

i think he is referring to just a section for any discussion outside of Canada. not necessarily a directory of models.

I added a new Topic..."Found on the Interweb"

You can post new and interesting models or modeling sites that you find.
I'd probably stick to stuff thats not already widely known.
Stuff thats new, interesting or especially unique.

But theres nothing wrong with including something that just deserves a special shout out.

I also have no problem with the idea of posting a themed thread.
If you wanted to create a list of a specific type of model, you could start a thread for that.
